US National Parks that I have visited
My favourite thing about the US is the National Parks. They are well maintained and provide some hikes for all abilities as well as amazing scenery and nature all around you. My favourite so far is Mount Rainier, closely followed by North Cascades and the Grand Canyon
If you plan on visiting more than one National Park then it's a good idea to purchase a yearly pass. There isn't an entrance fee to the North Cascades National Park though.
Mount Rainier National Park, Washington State (My favourite!) This Volcano is now being called Mt Tahoma by many locals, it's Native American name.
North Cascades National Park, Washington State (No fee!!! and probably the least busy park in the US, but still spectacular.)
Olympic National park, Washington State (UNESCO status)
The Grand Canyon, Arizona (UNESCO status)
Yellowstone National Park (I haven't been there yet, so I have planned this itinerary with help from friends who have been there for when I do go there. I have been to several places on the way there and back though, so I have posted photos of them. ) This park has UNESCO status.
